Description
Seal-Tite is a two-part, pourable, self-leveling, 100% solids, urethane sealant. It is designed to provide a high performance, elastic, weather resistant, durable seal to pitch pans against water entry. Seal-Tite is asbestos-free. Many problems associated with a building's roof area start with leaks around roof penetrations. Pitch pans are a common source for water entry. As they age and receive constant exposure to damaging weather conditions, materials commonly used in pitch pans shrink due to oil or solvent release. This soon causes areas for water entry that can damage the roofing system and eventually saturate the insulation below. Wet and deteriorating insulation soon loses its insulating value and allows moisture to negatively affect the underlying deck. Seal-Tite is designed to flow and fill every irregularity in the pitch pan.
